The EDI 867 transaction is an electronic Product Transfer and Resale Report (also known as ANSI X12 EDI 867). An EDI 867 Product Transfer and Resale Report is used by both buyers and suppliers and can be used for multiple purposes. EDI 867 transaction can be used to report product information that has been transferred to a new location, to report sales of products from several different locations, to report customer returns to a distribution center or retail location or to report demand that has surpassed sales.
