EDI 301 Booking Confirmation (Ocean)
The EDI 301 transaction is an electronic Booking Confirmation (Ocean), also known as ANSI X12 EDI 301. An EDI 301 Booking Confirmation (Ocean) transaction is a response document to an EDI 300 Reservations Booking Request (Ocean) which accepts, accepts with conditions or rejects a shipment. EDI 301 transaction provides the necessary information for an ocean carrier to confirm the required space, container and equipment availability.
