Proper training in the use of the EDI and the EDI solutions you utilize is very important to insure that your EDI implementation and the associated business processes operate smoothly. DataTrans offers appropriate, affordable and convenient training options based on the DataTrans EDI solutions you choose.

WebEDI

DataTrans WebEDI’s very intuitive interface really minimizes the need for training. No formal EDI experience is necessary. However, there are some features that users may need some instruction on and questions may arise related to EDI document processing. Therefore, DataTrans provides a free weekly web-based training session which is an interactive review of the features WebEDI with one of our experienced EDI Analyst. In addition, DataTrans provides an on-line tutorial that WebEDI customers can view at any time.

Delta and ECS training

The Delta and ECS EDI software solutions do require training, even if your staff is familiar with EDI. These software tools are very powerful and contain many features that will help you automate the flow of data in your business process. It is important to be knowledgeable on all of these features to really take advantage of the capabilities of Delta and ECS. There are three options for training on Delta and ECS:

• On-site Training: DataTrans EDI Analyst will come to your office install the software and train your team on the use of the software. Some consulting hours are also included in this option.
• Classroom Training: This is a scheduled classroom setting usually scheduled at least a month in advance.
• Web-based Training: Allows the trainee to stay in their office and learn WebEDI through a web-based training session with one of our experienced EDI Analyst.

Hosted EDI

With DataTrans Hosted EDI, DataTrans acts as your EDI department. So there really isn’t much to learn. We handle all of the technical aspects of EDI on your behalf. You will have access to web-based reporting tools giving you visibility to your EDI messages. The use of this reporting will be covered by the EDI analyst during the EDI implementation process.
